ConnectEVE brings fast and visually stunning graphics to even low-cost 8-bit MCUs. It's state-of-the-art FT800 graphics controller integrates display, audio and touch onto a low cost, easy-to-use, single-chip solution. FT800 easily handles the 4.3" touch screen with 480x272px resolution. It has simple SPI interface with interrupt support and stereo audio output. Provided IDC10 and 1x10 headers are used to connect it to your development boards or existing final designs. mikroElektronika provide a free FT800 library for all of their mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers. Every feature of the controller is covered with a specialized function. Provided examples help you to get started quickly. |

FT8xx EVE Displays feature an FT8xx graphics controller chip, which brings fast and visually stunning graphics to even low-cost 8-bit MCUs. The state-of-the-art FT8xx graphics controller integrates display, audio and touch onto a low cost, easy-to-use, single-chip solution. The units feature a simple SPI interface with interrupt support and stereo audio output. mikroElektronika provide a free FT8xx libraries for all of their mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers, and the displays are also supported in their VisualTFT GUI design software.

EVE Click is a display controller board in mikroBUS form factor. It features the state-of-the-art FT800Q graphics controller which integrates display, audio and touch onto a low cost, easy-to-use, single-chip solution. With 12 embedded widgets, transparency and anti-aliasing support, PWM backlight dimming control and much more, the FT800Q brings fast and visually stunning graphics even to 8-bit MCUs with little Flash and RAM. It communicates with a microcontroller over SPI interface (up to 30 MHz). EVE click contains a flat cable connector, LM4864 audio amplifier, LED diode, and screw terminal audio connections. The board is designed to use a 3.3V power supply only. |

Adapter Click is a breakout board which simplifies the connection of add-on boards with mikroElektronika standard IDC10 headers to mikroBUS sockets. Connection can be made using either male or female IDC10 connectors. Both are provided with the package. You may solder a male IDC10 header on the top side of Adapter Click and connect the add-on board directly or via IDC10 flat cable. In some cases, a female header socket is a better choice. Solder it either on the top, or the bottom side, depending on which one is more convenient in the given circumstances. Each mikroBUS line is covered, except AN and RST. There are two jumpers for SPI/I2C selection and one for selection of power supply range. |

Many boards feature the MikroElektronika-standard IDC10 connectors. This cable can be used to easily connect two male IDC10 connectors together, such as from a development board to an accessory board. |

The 4DLCD-FT843 features a 4.3" display with resistive touch panel, and integrated FTDI FT800 Video Engine with SPI interface. The FT800 is like a "graphics card" for microcontrollers - it offloads all the work of running a display to a separate, fast and powerful controller, making it possible to have great graphics with low-cost microcontrollers.
Note: This product uses an FFC connector. You will need either a matching connector on your board, or a breakout board, in order to connect to the display. |
