Force click

mikroBUS
Force click Force click is a mikroBUS add-on board with circuitry for implementing Interlink Electronics Force Sensing Resistors into your projects (with a single zone force sensing resistor included with the click).

The Force Sensing Resistor is a thin sensor made of two membranes that are separated by a spacer around the edges. When pressed, the gap between two membranes gets closed. This shorts the two membranes together, with a resistance that is proportional to applied force. The outputted analog voltage is thus a measure of force applied.

The force sensitivity range is from about 0.2N to 20N (although it depends on the implementation). Force click communicates with the target MCU through the mikroBUS AN pin. It is designed to use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.

Force 2 Click

Force 2 Click is a mikroBUS™ add-on board with circuitry for implementing Honeywell's FSS1500NGT Series force sensors into your projects (with a single zone force sensing resistor included with the click). This Click board™ utilizes FSS1500NGT force sensor which is designed to be one of the most reliable force sensor available as illustrated by 20 million Mean Cycles to Failure (MCTF) at 25 °C [77 °F] rating. This low profile Surface Mount Technology (SMT) sensor allows for automated assembly on a printed circuit board, often helping the customer to reduce assembly costs, while maintainging precise and reliable force sensing performance in a compact commercial-grade package.

Force 2 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Load cell click
Load cell click

Load cell click is a weight measurement click which utilizes a load cell element, in order to precisely measure the weight of an object. The Load Cell click can be used with the strain gauge type of load cells and can measure up to ±20V or ±40V of differential voltage. The strain gauge load cell is typically a circuit made of four strain gauges, connected in the Wheatstone bridge configuration. Very small voltage changes need to be accurately detected and converted into a digital form. Load Cell click uses the HX711, a specialized 24bit analog to digital converter (ADC), designed for weight scale applications, made by Avia Semiconductor.

Load cell 2 click

Load cell 2 Click is a weight measurement click which utilizes a load cell element, in order to precisely measure the weight of an object. The Load Cell 2 Click can be used with the strain gauge type of load cells with external differential reference voltage range from 0.1V to 5V. The strain gauge load cell is typically a circuit made of four strain gauges, connected in the Wheatstone bridge configuration. Very small voltage changes need to be accurately detected and converted into a digital form. The Load Cell 2 Click is based around the NAU7802, which is a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter, operated via a simple I2C command, from Nuvoton. This sensor has many features that make it a perfect solution for small designs. One of these features is certainly its high level of integration that allows a minimal number of external components.

Load Cell 2 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Load Cell 3 Click
Load Cell 3 Click

Load Cell 3 Click is a compact add-on board that represents a weigh scale solution. This board features the PGA302, a low-drift, low-noise, programmable signal-conditioner device designed for various resistive bridge-sensing applications from Texas Instruments. It creates 2.5V of bridge excitation and a current output source with programmable current output up to 1mA. Two identical analog front-end (AFE) channels followed by a 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC are available at the input, where each AFE channel has a dedicated programmable gain amplifier with gain up to 200V/V. It also comes with an on-chip temperature sensor and integrated EEPROM memory for device configuration, calibration, and user data. This Click board™ has many features that make it a perfect solution for weight scale and force-sensing applications that use strain gauge load cells and other general resistive bridge signal-conditioning applications.

Load Cell 3 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Load Cell 5 Click
Load Cell 5 Click

Load Cell 5 Click is a compact add-on board that represents a weigh scale solution. This board features the AD7780, a pin-programmable, low power, 24-bit sigma-delta S? ADC from Analog Devices. It interfaces directly to the load cell, where the low-level signal from the load cell is amplified by the AD7780's internal low noise programmable gain amplifier programmed to operate with a gain of 128 or 1. It also has a power-down mode allowing the user to switch off the power to the bridge sensor and power-down the AD7780 when not converting, increasing the product battery life. This Click board™ has many features that make it a perfect solution for safety-critical and weight measurement applications.

Load Cell 5 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
