Online Store Info

To get started, you could begin by browsing the store categories. Note that the items in some categories can be filtered based on certain criteria (such as the type of microcontroller architechture) by using the filter check-boxes (visible on the left in categories which support this feature).

How to Order
Browse around the store, and if you are interested in an item / would like to purchase it then please click it's "Add to Cart" button. When you are done, click the "Manage Basket / Checkout" button on the left (this will only be visible once you have items in your basket). You can then make changes to your basket and, when you are ready, submit your order / enquiry. We will respond with a quote on your order. Once we have received payment for the order (see below for payment options) we will dispatch your goods, and contact you with a tracking number where applicable.

How to Pay
We can accept payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), direct deposit, cash, credit-card, or PayPal. We use PayFast or PayPal to accept online payments, including credit-card payment options. For payment via credit-card or PayPal we may charge a fee of approximately 5% in some cases, in order to cover the fees charged to us by the payment processor.

Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout.¹
Bulk orders normally qualify for discounted or free shipping (if any discount is showing in your basket, then shipping will normally be free).
¹Automatic shipping calculation is not available for some international shipping options - in this case shipping will be manually calculated upon receipt of your order.

Stock
Stock availability is indicated for each item in the store. Although we would love to keep absolutely everything in stock, we have to be practical and this unfortunately means that lead-times are applicable for some items.
For MikroElektronika items where lead-times are applicable, stock can either be brought in for you with our next regular shipment (3-4 per month on average), or can alternatively also be brought in for you immediately if you can help us cover the additional importation costs (this option, as well as an indication of the costs involved, are made available during checkout). The lead-time from the date our supplier ships till the stock reaches us is normally around 2-4 working days. Please note however that additional lead-time may also be incurred if stock is not immediately available from our supplier.
For other suppliers where lead-times are applicable, lead-time will be indicated upon receipt of your order / enquiry, or alternatively please contact us for more information.
We always endeavour to deliver as quickly as possible, and will provide you with updates and tracking numbers whenever they become available.
