Mikromedia PROTO shield is an extension board pin-compatible with all mikromedia boards from mikroElektronika that enables users to place components and provide additional functionality to the base mikromedia board.

The Connect shield is an extension board, compatible with all mikroMedia boards, which allows you to easily establish connections between your mikromedia board and the surrounding electronics. On-board high-quality screw terminals allow you to connect each pin quickly and without soldering. This is especially convenient in prototype development, but also enables you to integrate the mikromedia board as a final product. A prototyping breadboard area is also available for placing additional components and expanding the base functionality with custom features. The board comes with two female 1x26 pin sockets. |

The microSD card is a mass storage memory array with a fast SPI interface. It is especially suitable for fast datalogging, or storing large amounts of data such as music and images.
Please note that SDHC cards are formatted as FAT32. They can however be formatted to FAT16 using the steps in this tutorial. We will also be happy to format the cards to FAT16 for you on request. |
