Tilt click
Tilt click Tilt click carries a RPI-1035, 4-directional optical tilt sensor. This type of sensor provides positional feedback for left, right, backward or forward movement (tilt). Compared to mechanical solutions, optical direction detectors are less prone to noise caused by vibrations. Compared to magnetic-based direction detectors, they are not influenced by magnetic disturbances. Tilt click communicates with the target board microcontroller through mikroBUS PWM and INT lines, used here for vout1 and vout2 outputs from the sensor. In addition, two onboard LEDs provide visual feedback from the sensor. The board is designed to use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.

UV 2 click
UV 2 click UV 2 click is a mikroBUS™ add-on board with a VEML6075 UVA and UVB light sensor. VEML6075 is a CMOS chip that incorporates a photodiode, amplifiers, and analog/digital circuits. With UV 2 click, Solar ultraviolet light intensity is converted to 16-bit digital values. UVA and UVB are in separate channels. To keep a stable output in changing temperature conditions, the chip has temperature compensation capabilities. This ensures reliable performance under long term UV exposure. The sensor has a specified UVA sensitivity of 365 nm and UVB sensitivity of 315 nm The board communicates with the target MCU through the mikroBUS™ I2C interface. Designed to use a 3.3 power supply only.

VREG click
VREG click VREG click is a digitally controlled DC Voltage regulator in mikroBUS™ form factor. The design is based on the well-known LM317 circuit, with the addition of a 12-bit DAC, 12-bit ADC, and an Operational Amplifier. Two pairs of screw terminals serve as inputs and outputs. The LM317 IC is a reliable regulator with typical line regulation of 0.01% and load regulation of 0.1%. It also has internal short-circuit current limiting and thermal overload protection. The circuit regulates voltage by turning all input/output difference into heat (effectively dissipating all the excess power). If it gets too hot it may damage the board or cause unexpected behaviour. Because of that, the board’s operating range is defined by two factors. 1) maximum input voltage and current (should not exceed 20V/1A); and 2) maximum wattage arising from current and I/O voltage difference (should not exceed 2W, measured as I x (Input V - Output V). The board also carries a MOSFET chip to toggle the output on and off. VREG click communicates with the target board MCU through the SPI interface (CS, SCK, MISO, MOSI). The board can use either a 3.3V or a 5V power supply. It is also possible to use the board’s power supply as the Input, by resoldering the onboard INPUT SEL jumper.

ADC 4 click
ADC 4 click

ADC 4 click is an advanced analog to digital multichannel converter, which can sample inputs from 16 single-ended channels or 8 differential input channel pairs. This device has a quite high sampling resolution of 24 bits and the output data rates can range from 5 SPS to 250 kSPS. Besides the internal 2.5V reference voltage source, ADC 4 click is also equipped with an external reference voltage circuit, which provides 4.096V. Finally, a custom reference voltage - up to 5V can be connected to the multiplexed inputs of the ADC converter. These options give a lot of flexibility in choosing the right reference voltage for any application.

Along with the two 9 pole spring action terminals that provide easy and secure connection to the input channels, this device has many other outstanding features, which make it a perfect choice for an accurate and simple digitalisation of analog signals from various sensors in PLC/DCS modules, temperature and pressure measurement, medical and scientific instrumentation, chromatography and other similar applications, where accurate analog to digital conversion is needed.

ADC 6 click
ADC 6 click

ADC 6 click is an advanced 24bit multichannel analog to digital converter (ADC), with 8 fully differential or 15 single ended/pseudo differential sampling inputs, and very flexible routing capabilities. The click board™ has two 2x10 pin headers, used both to configure the device and connect the input channels. This allows for unrestrained configuration of the device, so it can use both bipolar and unipolar input sources, with selectable reference voltages, external clock, auxiliary power switch, and more.

ADC 7 click
ADC 7 click
ADC 7 click is an advanced 32-bit analog to digital converter (ADC) which uses the LTC2500-32, a 32-bit oversampling SAR ADC with a configurable digital filter. The filter provides several presets (selectable via the hardware pin), as well as programming of the filtering parameters, via the industry-standard SPI interface. The LTC2500-32 has some very good specifications: a very low noise on the output, a high dynamic range of 148dB at 61 SPS (samples per second), 32-bit output with no missing codes, and more. An integrated filter allows relaxed anti-aliasing filter requirements for the analog input signal, which simplifies the design.

ADC 8 Click
ADC 8 Click

ADC 8 Click is a high precision, low-power, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), based around the ADS1115 IC. It is capable of sampling signals on four single-ended or two differential input channels. Although the ADS1115 cannot use an external reference, it incorporates a low-drift programmable voltage reference, along with the programmable gain amplifier (PGA). This allows for great flexibility in terms of the input signal level: it can sample signals from ±256 mV, up to 6.144 V, allowing a very high precision for a wide range of input signals, making it an excellent choice for various instrumentation applications.

ADC 8 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Angle click
Angle click Angle click is a precise Hall-effect angle sensing click board that can be used to measure the rotational angle of the magnetic field in the X-Y plane above it (parallel to the surface of the click), through the whole range of 360°. The click yields very precise results for both off-axis and axis operation, which make it a perfect choice for precise measuring of the rotational angle in a wide range of different high-speed applications, for example in the automotive industry: electronic power steering, transmission, torsion bar, or the motor shaft rotation. Angle click features the A1335 Hall-effect angle sensing IC, made by Allegro MicroSystems LLC. This IC measures the magnetic field angular vector, based on the actual physical reading of the integrated Hall-effect sensor, as well as the user selected parameters, such as the digital filtering, dynamic range and scaling. The integrated 32bit MCU ensures that the processed data is delivered with a minimal delay and it has enough power to provide the complex processing of the input values so that the measurement remains fast, precise and linear.
